Zineb Hazim is of Moroccan origin and Italian nationality. She is the creative director of the ZH-Zineb Hazim brand born in 2019. Hazim, embodies a Muslim woman committed to the fight against stereotypes who started wearing the hijab as a teenager and then affirmed it as a style and a cultural statement. Last year, after graduating from the Burgo Fashion Institute, she found success with her first collection, thanks to the support of AFW, the Italian National Fashion Chamber and Vogue Italy.
She wants to offer a certain type of clothing for Muslim women by maintaining certain requirements. She represents the emancipation of the Western Arab woman through her new collection, 22/23. She gave it the name «Abaya street couture», inspired by the style of Arab queens and princesses, like the «princess of Morocco Lalla Salma», or even the «queen of Jordan, Rania» and so many others.
The goal was to offer them clothes reflecting their culture, with a breath of modernity and a very marked fashion side. She developed a range of abayas, using fabrics such as, tweed, denim, cotton jersey, sequins added to other embellishments. It is an extremely elegant and sensitive collection paying homage to femininity with delicacy and respect that knows how to move us.
