From 8 to 12 March will be held in Marrakech a new edition of the MFW – Morocco Fashion Week.
This prestigious event is organized and supported by the Oriental Fashion Show chaired by Hind Joudar in partnership with M Avenue, a lifestyle destination in Marrakech imagined and developed by the inspirational Nabil Slitine.
This solid partnership between two personalities committed to the influence of the Kingdom is the guarantee of a strong and lasting anchorage.
This event, which has existed since 2017, has taken root in Marrakech and has become an essential bi-annual event that is part of the international fashion week agenda.
For a few exceptional days, the Ochre City will shine and will be the international capital of fashion, thus reviving its tradition as a temple of creativity.
In the setting of M Avenue will be held on March 10 fashion shows.
True to its desire to be part of the long term and to be a real lever of transmission, the MFWMaroc Fashion Week organizes a competition of young designers whose winner will have the opportunity to make a show in Paris.
This competition is organized in partnership with the schools of fashion design and model making Casa Moda, Lasalle College, Escom.
The MFW-Maroc Fashion Week will have the honor to receive the Academia Moda School of Nazareth and its founder the Palestinian Saher Okal who will be a member of the jury along with the Moroccan Said Mahrouf, Zineb Joundy and the Egyptian designer Hany El Behairy.
For this edition, the MFW-Maroc Fashion is associated with the Riad La Brillante, the prestigious five-star hotel nestled in the heart of the Medina where traditional craftsmanship and modern lines are combined with harmony and elegance. On March 9, 10 and 11, caftans and works of art crafts will be exhibited. This exhibition, in collaboration with the association “Dar Lmaalma”, was thought as a tribute to the know-how of Moroccan women artisans to celebrate the International Day of Women’s Rights.
A gala dinner will be held within the walls of the mythical Royal Mansour Palace on Saturday, March 11 and will be preceded by a fashion show of creations of great names in fashion from several regions of the world.
The dinner will benefit Atlas Kinder, an association that cares for orphaned children.
